Burning Man issues weather statement, hints at rain precautions
Briefly

"It looks like the best chance for rain is starting tomorrow morning, somewhere in the 7 or 8 a.m. timeframe, and then it's going to be showers throughout the day probably through about 4 or 5 p.m.," Fuentes told SFGATE on Friday.
"We are confident that the accumulation [this year] will be low and there should be minimal impact to operations," a message from festival organizers stated.
"Last year, when news of the muddy playa made international headlines with 70,000 people reportedly stranded, 0.6 inch of rain fell, according to festival organizers."
"The chance for rain comes as an anomalously strong low-pressure system from the Gulf of Alaska pushes across northern parts of California and Nevada."
