Bay Area heat wave holds on a bit longer, and this time it will be sticky
Briefly

The current heat wave in the Bay Area may last longer than anticipated, with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees expected for at least four consecutive days.
NWS meteorologist Brayden Murdock explained that the high-pressure system has been stronger than predicted and has slowed down, leading to persistent heat.
In addition to the intense heat, humidity levels are expected to soar, particularly in the South Bay, which could rise above 80%.
Forecasters predict a significant drop in temperatures across the region by Sunday, attributed to a low-pressure trough moving in from the Gulf of Alaska.
