Adults Over 50 Are Sharing The Spooky Events They Experienced As A Child They Still Can't Explain
Briefly

The article discusses how older adults are beginning to share their childhood paranormal experiences, which they often kept secret due to fear of disbelief from family and friends. These encounters range from out-of-body phenomena to ghost sightings and premonitions. With age, some individuals feel more comfortable revealing these moments, including vivid accounts of inexplicable incidents such as a child being saved from falling out of a car by an unseen force or a lost toy being mysteriously returned by a 'nice old lady.'
When I was four years old, I had lost one of my favorite toys, so my mom searched the entire house but still couldn't find it. Days later, she was flipping through old photo albums on her bed when I walked into the room holding my lost toy. She asked me where I found it because she had gone through my room. I told her, 'The nice old lady found it and gave it to me.' She told me I was imagining things because we were alone in the house. But she said I was insistent that an older lady talked to me, smiled, and gave me my toy.
When I was eight, my family went to Peru over Christmas break, partly to visit a young woman who lived with us before joining the Peace Corps. She now lived in a tiny village deep in the Andes (It was so small it wasn't even listed on maps at the time). The only way to get to her home was by cab. So my sister and I sat in the backseat while the driver, my mother, and my father sat in the front seat. (I was behind the driver). At one point, the driver took a curb too quickly, and my door flew open. I fell halfway out of the car and could see hundreds of feet down the cliff. I was paralyzed by fear when I felt a man's strong hands pulling me back into the car.
