Yankees History: Bob Feller has a very bad day
Briefly

Before Feller even took the mound, his Cleveland offense gave him some run support. Facing off against New York's Wes Ferrell, Cleveland took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first.
Joe Glenn drove in two runs on a single, then Tommy Henrich, DiMaggio, and Lou Gehrig delivered RBI hits to put the Yankees up 9-4.
