Giancarlo Stanton, with 429 career home runs, is the active leader among MLB players, while Aaron Judge continues a remarkable power run. Both sluggers will be key for the Yankees in 2025, and there's excitement surrounding their potential to reach significant statistical milestones like the 500 home run mark. Despite experiencing a rough 2023, Stanton's ability to hit home runs remains strong, indicating he may achieve 25+ homers in a healthy season, reinforcing his standing as a reliable power hitter in the league.
Statistical milestones may have lost some shine over the years, but I still get a lot of satisfaction out of players reaching them.
At this point it is probably fair to think that his 2022 and 2024 performances are what we can reasonably expect from him.
Even when he's at his worst, you can still probably count on 25+ homers from Stanton in a mostly healthy season.
Both massive sluggers will obviously play integral roles with the Yankees in 2025, but there are individual accomplishments in sight as well.
