A man named Harry Aberle, 27, was shot and killed by police on a golf course in Lawrence, New York, after he allegedly threatened officers with a revolver. Aberle, dressed in women's clothing, approached Officer Stephen Kunkel and pointed his gun, prompting Kunkel to call for backup. Despite warnings to drop the weapon, Aberle pointed the gun multiple times at the officers, leading them to fire a total of 18 shots.
