Tanner Scott has drawn interest from several teams this offseason but remains among the top available free agents with just over one month until the start of Spring Training.
Scott has been most prominently linked to the Los Angeles Dodgers in recent weeks, who are said to want to add a high-leverage relief pitcher to their bullpen.
New York Mets are also looking to improve their relief corps and reportedly met with Scott, exploring the most expensive options available for their bullpen.
If signed, Scott would strengthen an already talented Mets bullpen that includes setup man José Buttó and closer Edwin Díaz, enhancing their postseason potential.
