Judge sends Knicks-Raptors dispute to Silver
Briefly

A New York judge ruled that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver should resolve the dispute between the Knicks and Raptors over stolen confidential files, with the case now on hold pending resolution out of court.
Judge sided with the Raptors' argument that Silver's authority is appropriate for the case, despite the Knicks pushing back due to Silver's close relationship with Raptors governor Larry Tanenbaum.
If Silver deems the case unarbitratable, the court must be informed within seven days; all parties need to update the court by Dec. 13 on the arbitration progress.
Raptors expressed satisfaction with the court decision, believing NBA is the correct forum for such disagreements.
