New York Knicks owner, James Dolan, has resigned from the NBA's Board of Governors' advisory/finance and media committees amid a lawsuit against the Toronto Raptors and questioning the objectivity of NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
Dolan will no longer attend Board of Governors meetings, but will retain voting power for the Knicks and will have the team's general counsel represent the organization at meetings.
Dolan has been critical of the league and Silver on various issues, including the NBA's revenue sharing system.
