I mean, they conservatively need to hit 96 points to guarantee the playoffs; 92 was enough last year, and the Isles had 93, but I don't get the sense that'll happen again.
To do that, the Islanders would probably have to string together more than two wins in a row at some point, perhaps even a couple of times, and they've done that only once this season.
