Barkley, whose future with the Giants remains uncertain as the NFL offseason approaches, was on a stage near the ice prior to the game, along with wide receiver Sterling Shepard, who has likely played his last game as a Giant as he moves toward free agency, and quarterback Tommy DeVito.
The Giants could use the franchise tag again on Barkley, which would be about $12.1 million, or allow him to test the free agent market. That decision is due by March 5.
