"The Giants lost footballs at the Caesars Superdome on Sunday. Five turnovers sent them to a 26-14 loss against a previously winless Saints team. It was a demoralizing performance after the high of beating a previously unbeaten Chargers team last week. The culprit? Three fumbles and two interceptions. They became the first team since the 2016 Jets to have turnovers on five straight drives in a single game. "It's a recipe for disaster," offensive lineman Andrew Thomas said."
"On the Saints' 12-yard line to open the fourth quarter, Cam Skattebo was stopped at the line of scrimmage and had the ball stripped for his first NFL fumble. Saints safety Jordan Howden scooped it up and raced away for an 86-yard touchdown that helped make it 26-14. "He got a good punch on it and I handed them a touchdown," said Skattebo, who had 59 rushing yards and 45 receiving yards."

The Giants became the first team since the 2016 Jets to have turnovers on five straight drives. Offensive drops and a 3-for-10 showing on third down compounded problems while a secondary allowed Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler to attack successfully. A pivotal fourth-quarter fumble by Cam Skattebo resulted in an 86-yard scoop-and-score by Jordan Howden. Earlier fumbles by Darius Slayton and Jaxson Dart set up Saints field goals, and Dart was later flushed and intercepted, sealing the outcome.
