Around 7:10 a.m. Saturday, a woman was shot in the abdomen at the Lotus Lounge in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. She was transported to Kings County Hospital and is in stable condition.
Earlier this summer, the same club had issues; in July, two men were shot—a double shooting—right outside the Lotus Lounge, but both survived.
In a separate incident, two men were wounded by gunfire in the Bronx before 3 a.m. Saturday. Both were hospitalized and in stable condition, with no arrests made.
Police reported that the suspect in the Bronx shooting fled on an electric scooter, adding to concerns about the increase in gun violence in the area.
