"BROOKLYN, NY - A woman has been arrested and charged after allegedly stabbing a man four times during an attempted robbery in Brooklyn close to two weeks ago, police announced. Shivaun Charles, 45, of Brooklyn, was charged with two counts of robbery in connection with the Aug. 16 incident near Belmont and George Avenues. Charles is accused of approached a 40-year-old man and stabbed him four times before trying to take money out of his pockets."
"Charles then fled the scene in a black SUV, police said. The 45-year-old woman was taken into custody on Thursday. The man was taken to a local hospital after the stabbing. It is not known at this time if he has been released."
Shivaun Charles, 45, of Brooklyn, allegedly approached a 40-year-old man near Belmont and George Avenues on Aug. 16 and stabbed him four times during an attempted robbery. Charles allegedly tried to take money from the victim's pockets after the stabbing and then fled the scene in a black SUV. Police charged Charles with two counts of robbery. The 45-year-old woman was taken into custody on Thursday. The victim was taken to a local hospital after the stabbing, and his current release status remains unknown.
