Video: California man who stabbed his mother to death in charged at officers before killed

The tragic incident unfolded when 37-year-old Paul Parveaz Montazer fatally stabbed his mother Parvin, 72, outside their home before being shot by police.

At approximately 2:50 p.m. on August 8, a 911 caller reported that Montazer was attacking his mother with a large kitchen knife, following a lengthy argument.

Body camera footage revealed that Montazer lunged at an officer while still armed with the knife, prompting officers to shoot him multiple times, leading to his death.

Both Montazer and his mother died at the scene, with the motive for the stabbing still under investigation by the police.
