Uvalde shooting victim, 10, made honorary NYPD officer posthumously as family visits NYC: 'His dream'
Briefly

"It feels good what they're doing for my baby, honoring him. His dream was becoming an officer and now he is," the boy's father, Jose Flores Sr., stated.
"He was a good boy. He was a lover of the kids. He wasn't a fighter. He was smiling all the time. Hyperactive as well," his father shared, reminiscing about his son.
"Losing my son was the hardest thing in life someone goes through and anything else doesn't compare," Flores Sr. expressed, conveying his deep sorrow.
"It's an extremely important and emotional very happy day," said interim Police Commissioner Thomas Donlon, highlighting the significance of the ceremony.
