Luis Ramirez, a Utah man, was arrested for making antisemitic threats on social media against New York City synagogues. Authorities, alerted by the UJA's Community Security Initiative, intercepted him at the Lincoln Tunnel just before he could enter the city. Ramirez had been monitored during his trip from out of state, and although he was found with a firearm earlier in Kansas City, he did not have any weapons when stopped. He is currently held at Hudson County Correctional Center with ongoing investigations, but no charges have been filed yet.
