A 36-year-old man has been charged with murder after the death of his 82-year-old father was reported suspicious by Toronto police following a well-being check.
The police officers discovered the victim's body at a residence in Lawrence Park South, leading them to initially charge the son with interfering with a dead body before upgrading the charge to first-degree murder.
