A student was shot to death outside a Wisconsin middle school while carrying a pellet gun. The incident occurred near Mount Horeb Middle School after reports of a person with a backpack and long gun.
When officers asked the 14-year-old boy to drop his pellet gun, he pointed it at them, resulting in the officers shooting him. The weapon recovered was a Ruger .177 caliber pellet rifle.
