Linda De Sousa Abreu appeared in court charged with misconduct for allegedly having sex with an inmate at HMP Wandsworth, as shown in an online video.
The 30-year-old prison officer, a mother and Portuguese national, was apprehended at Heathrow Airport, released on condition bail, and is set to appear in court on 29 July.
