Two Georgia men who were sentenced to life in prison in the 1996 shooting death of their friend were freed last week after a true-crime podcast helped to uncover evidence of police misconduct in their cases, lawyers for both men said.The two men, Cain Joshua Storey and Darrell Lee Clark, were both 17 years old in 1996 when their friend, Brian Bowling, 15, died from a gunshot wound to the head while he was in the bedroom of his mobile home in Floyd County, Ga., the lawyers said.
