The 48-year-old woman was shot in the thigh while standing outside on 112th St. near Fifth Ave. in Harlem around 2 p.m., cops said. She was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside in stable condition. Police are looking for two suspects who fled on a scooter, authorities said."
"Shortly after 4 p.m., cops responding to a 911 call about an assault outside Avenue J and E. 16th St. in Midwood found a 16-year-old boy bleeding from a gunshot wound to his back, authorities said. EMS rushed the boy in stable condition to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was expected to recover. Police could not immediately say if there were any suspects, and there were no initial arrests in either case as investigations continued Sunday night."
