The NYPD towed about two dozen scooters from a Queens shelter where a cop-shooting migrant resided, amid an uptick in scooter-related crimes and challenges in enforcing laws.
Scooters are stored in hidden lots at migrant shelters, making it difficult for law enforcement to address the issue as they cannot ticket or check them on private property.
