NYC ex-con whose past murder conviction was tossed by DA now charged with gunning down 19-year-old man less than two years later

Shamel Capers, whose murder conviction was tossed out, is now charged with gunning down a 19-year-old man, after serving 8 years and being set free due to a witness lying.

The DA's office admitted the earlier conviction was a miscarriage of justice, leading to Capers' release, but he is now accused in another fatal shooting.
