Lewis Gordon, the 45-year-old father, is accused of fatally stabbing his 47-year-old wife Antoinette Stewart-Gordon during a violent domestic dispute, which left their son injured while trying to intervene.
The attack occurred on a Sunday evening in their Canarsie home, where Gordon allegedly stabbed his wife in a brutal manner that ultimately led to her death, as well as injuring their son.
Following the assault, Antoinette was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital but despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries, while their son was treated for a hand injury.
Gordon has been charged with second-degree murder, along with additional charges for endangering a child and criminal possession of a weapon, and was ordered held without bail.
