Murphy presented an upbeat vision of New Jersey on Tuesday during his State of the State address: a suddenly cool state where A-list actors come to shoot movies and, with luck, residents will have more places to grab a drink.Mr. Murphy, who was re-elected in 2021 by a narrow margin, is the chairman of both the National Governors Association and the Democratic Governors Association.
