""It is always a lot of fun to be on the court with Frances-we love to compete against each other, and I can't wait to put on a great show for the fans in Newark,""
""Playing at the inaugural 'A Racquet at The Rock' against Amanda is an exciting way to end the season," Raducanu said. "The energy of a packed arena, especially in the tri-state area, is unmatched.""
""I love playing in New York, so coming back to The Garden at holiday time will be awesome,""
""Playing at Madison Square Garden has a special meaning for a tennis player. The history there is unmatched in sports.""
Two consecutive showcase events arrive in the Tri-State area on December 7 and 8. A Racquet at the Rock debuts at Newark's Prudential Center on December 7 with Carlos Alcaraz facing Frances Tiafoe and Amanda Anisimova meeting Emma Raducanu. The next night, Madison Square Garden hosts its 12th Garden Cup on December 8 with Aryna Sabalenka versus Naomi Osaka and a men's match between Nick Kyrgios and Tommy Paul followed by a mixed doubles finale. Several players noted excitement about competing in packed arenas and the unique history and energy of New York venues.
