Mauricio David Sosa, a 33-year-old Mexican migrant, was arrested for attacking two NYPD officers who intervened in a street brawl in Queens.
When the NYPD officers attempted to cuff Sosa, he retaliated violently, punching one officer in the face and kicking another in the stomach.
Despite the assaults, the two officers opted out of medical attention following the altercation, indicating their injuries were not severe.
Sosa had attempted to enter the U.S. illegally three times before, but on his fourth try, he finally succeeded, according to sources.
