The attack occurred as a Metro-North train approached Grand Central, where 46-year-old Abdul Malik Little stabbed a 31-year-old passenger in the chest during an argument over loud music.
Police apprehended Little without incident at the scene, recovering the knife used in the attack. The victim, although injured, managed to identify him to officers.
This incident marks the second stabbing in two weeks at Grand Central and is part of a disturbing trend of violent crimes in the transit system.
