Man shot to death in late-night bloodshed in the Bronx
A man was found shot to death in front of a Bronx apartment building late Sunday night. Officers responded to a 911 call shortly after 9:30 p.m. on May 24 at 360 E. 161 St. in Concourse Village. They found 34-year-old Javan Jones with a single gunshot wound to the back. EMS transported him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. The shooting followed another deadly incident Sunday morning in Parkchester, where a 29-year-old man was shot in the chest outside an apartment building. Crime Stoppers is accepting information for both cases.

Upon arrival, officers found 34-year-old Javan Jones of E. 102 Street in Manhattan with a single gunshot wound to the back. EMS responded to the incident and rushed Jones to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead. So far, no arrests have been made, but the investigation remains ongoing."
