Man found dead in block of flats had 'cocaine and tramadol in his system'

Hakim Kherroubi was found dead in his Walthamstow home, with toxicology tests revealing a combination of opioid painkillers and cocaine led to his fatality.

The level of tramadol found in Mr. Kherroubi's system was slightly below a fatal dose, but combined with other substances, proved to be lethal.

Inquest proceedings have been instituted, allowing Mr. Kherroubi's family to question the evidence surrounding his death and seek clarity about his health and drug use.

A pathologist concluded that Mr. Kherroubi died from acute cardiorespiratory failure due to mixed drug toxicity, highlighting the dangers of drug interactions.
