A 35-year-old man was fatally shot in the Eastlake district at 1:30 a.m. Police found shell casings, but no motive was released. This is the 45th homicide in Oakland this year.
Police are offering $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the killer. Anyone with information can contact Oakland police or Crime Stoppers of Oakland.
