Police are searching for Jamar Banks, a man with a lengthy criminal history and suspected of two subway stabbings, armed with a large knife.
Banks, 52, has a history of mental illness and over 50 arrests, causing authorities to exercise 'extreme caution' when they encounter him.
Surveillance footage shows Banks holding a knife in gloved hands, allegedly stabbing two individuals in separate incidents over a span of two days.
The victims—a 31-year-old man and an off-duty MTA cleaner—are in stable condition after being attacked on the metro system.
