Investigator in Hialeah cop beating case wants state sanctioned for withholding evidence

For the past two years the city of Hialeah and state prosecutors have withheld, illegally redacted, and denied public records in a case involving two Hialeah cops charged with kidnapping and beating a homeless man.
Attorney Lopez claims Hialeah staff forwarded most requests to a prosecutor who secured a conviction against one officer and will try upcoming cases against Saleh and another officer, alleging delays and tactics in providing evidence.
