A 64-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder after fatally shooting his 54-year-old wife in front of their teenage son outside a religious meeting in Encino, California. The couple was reportedly in the midst of a divorce. Eyewitnesses, including Rabbi Bijan Zangan, heard gunfire and later discovered the wife lying in the street. The husband fled the scene but was soon apprehended. In addition to murder, he faces charges of child abuse, with serious implications following such a tragic incident.
