Mark Murray, 61, and Susan Murray, 57, of Rumney, New Hampshire, tragically died at the scene of the single-car crash that occurred late Thursday evening. Authorities stated that the couple’s 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee veered off the roadway and collided with a tree, leading to both fatalities.
At approximately 11:42 p.m., the Plymouth Police Department received a call regarding a car accident near 175 Quincy Road. Upon arrival, they discovered the vehicle had plunged down an embankment and had struck a tree.
Preliminary investigations indicated that while driving westbound, Mark Murray drifted off the road before the fatal collision. This event is currently under investigation by local authorities.
In addition to the Plymouth Police, the New Hampshire State Police, Plymouth State University Police Department, and Plymouth Fire-Rescue Department promptly arrived to provide assistance at the crash scene.
