Human skull found in bushes near Coney Island boardwalk, as searches continue for more remains: cops

"A human skull was found just in the bushes off the Coney Island boardwalk Tuesday evening, cops said. A homeless person spotted the remains just off the beach's iconic Riegelmann Boardwalk between West 32nd and 33rd streets minutes before 6 p.m. and called 911, authorities and law enforcement sources said. Responding cops found the skull just next to the boardwalk ramp, and investigators later determined it to be authentic, cops and sources said."
