This highlights how combining activities with drinking helps to alleviate first-date nerves.
"We're definitely seeing a rise in couples coming in - pre-pandemic, there were a lot more friend groups," she added. This indicates a shift in social dynamics, emphasizing how activities are becoming a preferred date option.
"They want to experience different things," NY Cake Academy owner Jenny Kashanian told The Post. The trend towards unique date night experiences over traditional dining showcases Gen Z's evolving preferences.
"Instead of going out to dinner, they're coming here. Then they sit down afterwards and eat here," Kashanian explained. This reveals how Gen Z is prioritizing more engaging, hands-on experiences in their dating life.
