Former NYPD cop pleads guilty to fatal 2021 Brooklyn love triangle shooting
Briefly

Yvonne Wu pleaded guilty to manslaughter and attempted murder for injuring her ex-girlfriend and killing another woman using her NYPD service weapon.
The prosecution and defense recommended a 22-year prison sentence for manslaughter and five years for attempted murder, to be served consecutively.
The Li and Liang families have sued the city for $25 million, alleging the NYPD was aware of Wu’s emotional distress but allowed her to keep her service weapon.
Wu, off-duty at the time, entered the victims' home and shot them, with one person dying and the other surviving after being hit in the chest with lung and artery wounds.
