Dog tossed down NYC high-rise trash chute - and miraculously saved after worker hears yelps: 'Pure evil'
Briefly

Resident Jose Reynoso condemned the act, stating, "That's bad, man. That's animal cruelty. I'm not with that. That's like doing it to a human. Who would do that? That would be someone pure evil."
The dog was discovered by Caretaker Jay, who commented, "Obviously that person was not in their right mind. That's horrible." He was traumatized by the incident and had to leave work that day.
Police reported that the dog had been poorly cared for before the incident, noting it had matted fur and was injured, with broken legs from the fall.
Aixa Torres, president of the Alfred E Smith Resident Association, mentioned, "Nobody knows who the dog belongs to. They don't recognize the dog,” indicating the mystery of its ownership.
