"We have charged Randol Contreras with attempted murder," Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said. "A young woman is fighting for her life after being stabbed in an unprovoked attack as she exited the subway system."
"We grabbed him and threw him to the ground and waited for the police so they could arrest him," said Alexander Robles Lino, a good Samaritan who intervened in the attack.
