When Banks awoke to find his suitcase taken, he confronted the man who had claimed his blanket. In a heated moment, Banks allegedly stabbed the victim in the back, causing severe injuries. The victim required hospitalization for a ruptured lung, while Banks was later arrested, still in possession of the knife used in the attack.
