Leaving him beaten and bloody, the group ran northbound on 3rd Avenue, police reported. Officers from the 40th Precinct responded to the incident. EMS rushed the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. Sources familiar with the investigation report that the victim was uncooperative with police at the time of the incident."

A 28-year-old man was walking eastbound on East 145th Street and 3rd Avenue at about 9:46 p.m. when two men and two women approached and launched an assault, delivering punches and kicks. One perpetrator produced a sharp object and stabbed the victim several times in the torso. The group fled northbound on 3rd Avenue. EMS transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. The victim was uncooperative with police.
