In a tragic case of alleged murder-suicide, a father is believed to have shot his wife and two children, with all found dead in their apartment.
Milpitas Police spokesperson Tyler Jamison stated the family was discovered during a welfare check, initiated after relatives reported a lack of communication over several days.
Police reported that the couple worked together at the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, which adds another layer of complexity to the tragic event.
Though the cause of death remains under investigation, officials noted that each family member appeared to have suffered from a single gunshot wound.
