Baby boy found dead in Queens as mother slits wrists in apparent suicide attempt

"A 15-month-old baby boy who died under unclear circumstances was found in a bathroom alongside his mother, who had slit her wrists in an apparent suicide attempt inside their Queens home on Monday, cops said. "The child had no apparent wounds on his body, but the mother was bleeding from self-inflicted wounds to both wrists caused by a box cutter, law enforcement sources told the Daily News.
