An East Bay man felt what he thought was a punch while at a coffee shop; authorities say somebody cut him with a sharp object

The 33-year-old Antioch resident is alleged to have inflicted a wound upon the man on Sept. 5 at the Peet's Coffee in the 5400 block of Lone Tree Way.

According to authorities, a man was sitting outside the business, when he was attacked. Police said he told them that he initially thought he'd just been punched.
