Members of the 'violent street gang' Hoolies, Dashawn Austin, and Akeem Artis were sentenced for the death of Davell Gardner Jr. and other charges.
Evidence showed Austin firing into a park, injuring four people including Gardner, in an act of gang-related violence targeting rival gangs and displaying strength.
Austin convicted of second-degree murder, Artis of first-degree manslaughter for Gardner's death; both faced additional charges in gang-related homicides and shootings.
