Two boys, aged 12 and 13, have been arrested and charged with gang assault for attacking former New York Governor David A. Paterson and his stepson in Manhattan.
Mr. Paterson suffered minor facial and bodily injuries, alongside his stepson, who also sustained similar minor injuries during the Friday night incident.
A third minor approached police regarding the attack but was not charged. The police continue to look for two adult suspects who fled the scene.
Sean Darcy stated, 'We hope that the young people involved learn something from this unfortunate encounter,' indicating the importance of accountability.
