The reason for this? More than likely, it's fan fatigue caused by Kansas City's continued success, which doesn't look like it's slowing down any time soon (Four Super Bowl appearances in the last five seasons). If the Chiefs complete the three-peat, expect this negative sentiment to grow even more.
Tweets like 'I hate the Chiefs,' 'Screw the Chiefs,' 'The Chiefs suck,' and 'The Chiefs are the worst' helped the defending Super Bowl champions dethrone the Cowboys for the most hated title.
Dallas is still high in the ranking, at No. 2 with 7,992 negative sentiments directed at the team. The most disliked team has been monitored for six seasons now.
