Patriots vs. Chiefs inactives: JuJu Smith-Schuster among 3 starters ruled out
Briefly

The New England Patriots will host the reigning world champions at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, and they will do so with three members of their starting lineup unavailable: wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, offensive tackle Trent Brown, and running back Rhamondre Stevenson have all been ruled out for the game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Seven of the Patriots' questionables, meanwhile, are good to go. Wide receivers DeVante Parker (knee) and Tyquan Thornton (hamstring), tight end Pharaoh Brown (foot), defensive tackle Christian Barmore (shoulder, illness), linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley (knee) and special teamer Matthew Slater (groin) have all been cleared for the game. Also on the field will be wide receiver Demario Douglas. The rookie missed the last two games after suffering a concussion, but he was removed from the injury list Friday as well.
